Leave Albufeira’s coast for a four-hour 4x4 trip through villages, orange groves, cork oak forests, hills, and valleys. Your local guide may include a farm stop for honey, liqueurs, or piri-piri before a winery visit with several wines, bread, cheese, jams, and smoked ham. At family-run Morgado do Quintão, guide Marco or Anna leads a short vineyard visit before you sit down to a three-course Algarvian meal. Three wines are served in 150 ml glasses, with stories about the estate and its old Negramole vines. Expect a relaxed, social evening, but not a winery tour: the on-site winery is still under construction.

At family-owned Morgado do Quintão, between Lagoa, Silves, and Monchique, you will walk among old Negramole vines, hear the estate story, and taste three wines with a three-course Algarvian meal. The setting may be beneath a 2,000-year-old tree, in a vintage olive press, or inside the main house. Tours are in English or Portuguese for up to 10 people.

Visit Quinta dos Vales in the Algarve for a guided tasting of three red or white wines. Staff help you choose samples by flavor, then you can sip on the terrace overlooking the vines and walk through the sculpture gardens. Arrive during opening hours, with no transport included.
